One of the few private spas in Playa del Carmen

A house we turned into a professional spa, open since May 2026. No walk-ins and no public access: one couple at a time, and the whole place is yours. The spa is 15 minutes from Playacar.

How to book

Casa Botica is by appointment only. Book online below, or message us on WhatsApp and we'll set it up for you. We send the address once you're confirmed. Your deposit holds your therapist's time. We send your confirmation by email, WhatsApp or both, as you choose. You pay the rest after your massage.

Good to know

How many people can you host at once?
One group at a time, with the whole spa to yourselves. Right now that means a couple. If you're coming with friends, message us on WhatsApp and we'll see what's possible.
Is it a professional spa or a home?
A dedicated private spa, fully equipped and run by our team of certified therapists. It is our spa, not a home, and it is never shared with the public. It works like a day spa in Playa del Carmen: you come in for your session and head back to where you're staying. There are no rooms for overnight stays.
Is there a shower?
Yes, and we suggest using it before your treatment. Casa Botica doesn't have a hydrotherapy circuit. The place is built around the massage itself, not around a list of facilities.
How far ahead do I need to book?
Open every day, 9:00 to 21:00; the last session starts at 20:00. For the same day we need at least 4 hours, and you can book in a few minutes right here.
How far is Casa Botica from Playacar?
About 15 minutes. We can book your ride there and back through inDrive; you pay the driver directly, in cash. If you'd rather stay in, Botica at Home brings the massage to your villa in Playacar.
Are your therapists women?
Yes. Botica Spa is an all-women team. Every massage is provided by a professional female therapist.
Which payment methods do you accept?
You pay your deposit online at checkout, by card. Apple Pay and Google Pay work too. Prefer PayPal, Mercado Pago or a bank transfer within Mexico? Message us on WhatsApp and we'll send you a payment link. You pay the rest after your massage, in cash (pesos, US dollars or euros), by card or by link. Cards are charged in Mexican pesos and your bank sets the exchange rate. If your card doesn't go through, message us on WhatsApp.
Why a 1,000 MXN deposit, and is it safe?
It holds your therapist's time, for one person or two. You pay it when you book, and we send your confirmation shortly after. Stripe stores your card and we never see the number. Outside Playa del Carmen and Playacar we hold the full amount instead. You pay the rest on the day, in cash with 5% off or by card if you ask. With a monthly offer, you pay the balance in cash or by transfer, and the 5% cash discount doesn't apply.
What happens if I need to cancel?
We email you 24 hours before your appointment with two buttons, Confirm or Cancel. Cancel there and we refund what you paid minus the processor's actual fee (5% at most). Confirm, and a no-show or a cancellation after that is charged at the full service price. If you don't reply, we send a second notice, and if we still hear nothing 4 hours before, the appointment is cancelled and the deposit is not refunded.
