At home massage Playa del Carmen: how it works

1. Choose your treatment. Six massages, all on the menu, with every price on the price list.

2. Book online or on WhatsApp. Choose your zone, date and time right here, or message us and we'll set it up for you. We recommend 24 hours' notice. Your card is held when you book: the deposit in Playa del Carmen and Playacar, the full amount elsewhere in the Riviera Maya. We confirm your time within 4 hours, between 9:00 and 21:00, and only then is it charged. You pay the rest on the day, in cash with 5% off or by card.

3. We arrive and set up. Table, fresh linens, and cream or oil, your choice. A quiet corner of about 3×2 meters is all we need. You just lie down.

Where we go

Playa del Carmen and Playacar are our home base, with arrival usually within 30 to 60 minutes. The rest of the Riviera Maya has its own menu, on the price list.

Good to know

Hotel massage in Playa del Carmen: will my hotel let a therapist in?

It depends on the hotel, and that's normal. Some let an outside therapist in for an in-room massage without a second look. Others ask the front desk for a quick heads up from the guest, and a few charge a small access fee of their own.

Tell us where you're staying when you book. We already know how a lot of hotels in the area handle this, and we'll tell you exactly what to expect before your appointment day arrives.

If your hotel says no, Casa Botica is always there, no hotel policy involved.

Can I get a massage at my Airbnb in Playa del Carmen?
Yes. Most Airbnb and VRBO hosts are fine with it. Send yours a quick message before the day, so nobody is surprised at the door. We bring the table, the linens and cream or oil, your choice. You only need a quiet corner of about 3×2 meters.
Can I get a beach massage in Playa del Carmen?
We can, but we don't recommend it. Heat, sand and mosquitos get in the way of a good massage. Your room, villa or Airbnb works much better, and so does Casa Botica.
Are your therapists women?
Yes. Botica Spa is an all-women team. Every massage is provided by a professional female therapist.
Which payment methods do you accept?
Card online, Apple Pay and Google Pay included, or cash in pesos, US dollars or euros. Cards are charged in Mexican pesos and your bank sets the exchange rate. If your card doesn't go through, message us on WhatsApp.
Why a 1,000 MXN deposit, and is it safe?
It holds your therapist's time, for one person or two. It is a hold on your card, and nothing is charged until we confirm your time. Stripe stores your card and we never see the number. Outside Playa del Carmen and Playacar we hold the full amount instead. You pay the rest on the day, in cash with 5% off or by card if you ask.
What happens if I need to cancel?
We email you 24 hours before your appointment with two buttons, Confirm or Cancel. Cancel there and we refund what you paid minus the processor's actual fee (5% at most). Confirm, and a no-show or a cancellation after that is charged at the full service price. If you don't reply, we send a second notice, and if we still hear nothing 4 hours before, the appointment is cancelled and the deposit is not refunded.
